"In December, 2003, I stayed at the Marriott in North San Diego and it was absolutely wonderful in every respect; I wrote a congratulatory letter to the Manager. Again, while at the Mayo Clinic is East Scottsdale, AZ, I spent 8 days and the people and service couldn't have been nicer, especially for a small hotel. Based on these good experiences, I booked at the Ontario Airport Marriott. Other than it being near the airport and it having shuttle service, it was a great disappointment. Often, I would call the desk and no one would answer. The bath equipment was old. The hall carpets and underflooring were in terrible shape. The restaurant was small, closed most of the time, and not inviting. I did like the exercise room and the swimming pool, but that is about it. Sorry. Ray Besing"
